Mersin University The Research Center of Cilician Archaeology  (KAAM) scientific journal OLBA publishes archaeological studies containing original findings on Anatolia, the Mediterranean world, and related regions; it aims to present valuable studies to the scientific community by embracing 'Ancient Studies' as a whole, without separating them.

Articles on Prehistory, Protohistory, Classical Archaeology, Classical Philology (and Ancient Languages ​​and Cultures), Ancient History, Numismatics, and Early Christian Archaeology (up to the 7th century AD) are considered for publication.-OLBA is published once a year in May, both in print and electronically.

The Journal ‘Olba’, is a scientific periodical representing the discipline of archaeology. Therefore, archaeological evaluation is expected to be prioritized in articles whose data are generated through collaboration between different disciplines (such as Surveying Engineering, Architecture, Archaeometry, Geophysics, and Anthropology).
