GUIDANCE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER
A. LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE – EVIDENCE EXPLANATION REPORT

The Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center operates with a structured governance approach in line with the university's strategic objectives and quality policy documents. The center's management structure consists of the director, deputy director, expert psychological counselors, and administrative support team. Decision-making processes are driven by regular meetings, annual planning studies, and stakeholder feedback.

"As part of the 2025–2029 Strategic Plan, the center systematically plans its education, research, and social contribution activities and prepares annual implementation programs in line with the established objectives. Annual activity reports, counseling statistics, seminar data, and external stakeholder activities are regularly monitored as part of this planning mechanism."

"As part of the quality assurance processes, the center uses measurement and evaluation tools for each service area. Individual psychological counseling evaluation forms, group counseling evaluation forms, seminar and workshop evaluation surveys, and needs assessments are regularly conducted. This data is analyzed using the PİKO (Plan–Operate–Check–Act) cycle and used to update content, improve the service approach, and develop new plans."

Links to the relevant evaluation forms are provided below as evidence:

·         Individual Counseling Evaluation Form:

·         Group Counseling Evaluation Form:

·         Seminar/Workshop Evaluation Form:

In addition, to determine the seminar and workshop topics students need, we used the "Your Opinion is Valuable to Us!" PDRM Student Needs Survey.

These forms serve as evidence that the center's service processes are transparent, traceable, and conducted in accordance with quality assurance principles.

“The center utilizes stakeholder engagement as a core element of its governance model. "Work is carried out in collaboration with university units (SKS, Guidance and Counseling Department, Women's Issues Center, etc.) and external stakeholders (MEB, schools, municipalities, volunteer organizations, other universities); student, parent, and teacher feedback is reflected in service planning."

The dates of the external stakeholder meetings are as follows:

08.09.2025 - Istanbul Kültür University - “Continuous Improvement Processes Based on the Opinions and Contributions of Internal and External Stakeholders within the Scope of the Quality Assurance System”

27.10. 2025 - Konya Technical University - “Survey or Satisfaction Evaluation Processes for Students, Internal Stakeholders, and External Stakeholders”

“All activities and announcements of the Center are published on the university’s official website in accordance with the principle of transparency, thus ensuring public access, visibility, and accountability. With this governance and quality assurance approach, the Center both enhances the quality of university services and ensures the sustainability of its contributions to society.

Documentary evidence of these activities is also displayed on the board.
