D. SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION – EVIDENCE EXPLANATION REPORT

D.1 – Social Contribution Strategy and Planning

The Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center works within a strong collaboration network with schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In this context, center experts conduct psychoeducation, seminars, awareness campaigns, and educational programs for middle and high school students and parents. These activities are implemented in many schools, including disadvantaged areas, and contribute to strengthening students' psychological well-being, parental awareness, and the supportive nature of school environments. Annual activities are planned and implemented in line with the goals of "increasing internal and external university collaborations," as included in the center's strategic plan.

D.2 – Implementation of Social Contribution Activities

The center provides expert support to projects carried out in partnership with the Ministry of National Education; The Center plays an active role in the training, group work, interactive activities, and practices carried out within the scope of the project. These efforts strengthen university-school collaboration and enable outreach to disadvantaged groups in line with social contribution goals.

The Development and Research Center actively contributes, at an expert level, to the TÜBİTAK 4008 - Support Program for Individuals with Special Needs projects carried out at our university.

Because TÜBİTAK 4008 projects aim to support the social-emotional development of individuals with special needs and their families, the center's experts ensure that project activities are carried out in a safe, inclusive, and psychologically appropriate manner.

The expert support provided for TÜBİTAK 4008 projects significantly contributes to both the university's scientific research ecosystem and its social contribution mission. D.4 – Monitoring and Improving Social Contribution Performance

The center regularly monitors the participation numbers, content, and feedback from all its training programs. Seminar evaluation forms measure the effectiveness of the activities and guide new planning. As a result of these processes, activity content is updated, new needs are identified, and the quality of social contribution services is continuously improved through the PİKO cycle.

D.5 – Visibility and Widespread Impact

All social contribution activities conducted by the center are announced on the university's official website and social media accounts; event photos, posters, and statements are shared regularly. This visibility facilitates access to the center's work and increases its social impact. Furthermore, posters and photos from all events are digitally archived to create institutional memory.
This archive is an important resource for the traceability and sustainability of activities.
