Patients who will have their first examination at our Faculty are required to come to the Faculty and apply to the patient admission desk with their identification card. Applications without an ID are not accepted.

Within the framework of the protocol signed with the Social Security Institution (SGK), our Faculty provides services to all active and retired SGK beneficiaries, including Green Card holders. Patients with private insurance or without SGK coverage may receive treatment at our Faculty for a fee determined by the institution. All patients whose eligibility is confirmed through the system inquiry can receive treatment at our Faculty free of charge.

After completing their registration at the patient admission desk, patients must proceed with the queue number and patient card provided to them and undergo their initial examination in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. If deemed necessary, dental radiographs are taken in the radiology unit. Once the examination is completed by the relevant clinician, the patient’s examination information is recorded on the patient card, after which the patient is directed to the necessary clinics.

Appointments must be obtained separately for each department.

The patient card provided at the first visit must be brought to every appointment. Patients who do not bring their card are required to repeat their initial examination.

Important Note:

Although the procedure fees for prosthetic treatments performed in our Faculty are covered by SGK, the cost of dental technician services must be paid by the patient in accordance with the regulations. Therefore, before beginning treatment in the prosthetics department, it is recommended that you ask your clinician for detailed information regarding these costs to prevent issues that may arise later.

Additionally, SGK applies a co-payment based on the treatment cost; therefore, obtaining information about the applicable co-payment rates is advisable.
