The Erasmus+ student and staff mobility program is implemented in our department. In this context, the Erasmus+ program—an initiative of the European Union (EU)—aims to enhance cooperation among higher education institutions. To this end, the program promotes collaboration as well as the mobility of students, academic staff, and administrative personnel, contributing to the improvement of national human capital both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Regulations concerning students’ course achievement are specified in Article 34, titled “Course Achievement Grade,” of the Mersin University Associate and Bachelor’s Degree Education and Examination Regulations. Accordingly, students receive a grade on a 100-point scale for their performance in each course, and a minimum score of 60.00 is required to pass. Students receiving one of the following letter grades—AA, BA, BB, CB, or CC—are considered successful in the course (Article 34–3b). The percentage weights of course examinations are announced in the Student Information System (ÖBS) within the first two weeks of the academic semester.

To graduate from the department, students must successfully complete a total workload of 240 ECTS credits, consisting of compulsory and elective courses included in the eight-semester curriculum.
