RULES TO FOLLOW DURING THE EXAM

  • Students will take the exam according to the lists posted in classrooms by the instructors responsible for the course before the exam.

  • Students must take the exam with their student ID cards or student certificates. Those without their student ID cards will not be admitted to the exam, and their IDs will be checked by the supervising instructors.

  • Cell phones must not be brought into the exam room. If they are brought, they must be placed off on the desk at the classroom entrances for the duration of the exam. Additionally, students are prohibited from wearing smart watches during the exam.

  • If a student is contacted with a mobile phone for any reason, the responsible instructor may remove them from the exam without warning and will keep a record of their presence.

  • Students must take their seats in the exam hall at least 5 minutes before the exam time. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted to the exam hall, and no additional time will be given to students arriving late.

  • Exchanging pens, erasers, calculators, etc. is prohibited during the exam. Students are also required to have a pen or pencil with them to sign their exam lists.

  • After the exam begins, no student may leave the exam hall within the first 15 minutes, even after the exam has concluded, and during the last 5 minutes of the exam.

  • Students are strictly prohibited from keeping any lecture notes, books, or other materials, whether related or unrelated to the course, in their seats during the exam.

  • Instructors supervising students during exams may relocate students, take the exam paper, and escort the student out if deemed necessary. Students are obligated to comply with the supervising instructor's warnings.

  • Students are responsible for any scribbles or notes on their desks. Please check your seat before starting the exam. If this is the case, inform your invigilator before the exam begins.

  • Students who have left the exam hall are prohibited from gathering in the corridors until the end of the exam or from making verbal comments on exam questions until they leave the corridor.

  • Disciplinary offenses and penalties are imposed according to Article 54 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 for "cheating, having others cheat, or attempting to cheat during exams," "any action that disrupts the exam order," and "any other action that could be considered negative regarding the exam."
