GRADUATE PROGRAM IN TURKISH EDUCATION
Turkish Education Master's Program started its educational activities in the 2001-2002 academic year. Individuals who have a bachelor's degree in related fields, a valid score in the "Verbal" field of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) and become successful in the interview conducted by the Department can participate in the program that carries out an education plan in order to train lecturers and academicians in their field. Students are provided with interdisciplinary studies, both individually and in groups, with course contents aimed at identifying mother language teaching and problems, producing solutions, using technology effectively, and gaining academic research skills. Students who successfully complete their courses graduate as a science specialist in the subject related to their thesis study within the scope of the field of specialization in accordance with their own interests. Graduates of this program can continue their doctoral studies if they meet the prerequisites. In addition, they can work as lecturers or research assistants in Turkish Education / Turkish Language and Literature departments of universities.
