GRADUATE PROGRAM IN TEACHING TURKISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
On 19.08.2015 Higher Education Executive Board approved the opening of the decision as a Foreign Language Teaching Turkish Graduate Program. The program conducts educational activities for the purposes of Turkish dissemination throughout the world and this way provide the integration of Turkey to the world.Students who graduated from Turkish Language and Literature of the universities in Turkey, Turkish Education, Foreign Language Education majors of undergraduate programs and Higher Education which is recognized as equivalent by the Higher Education Board of overseas graduates of programs are accepted. Students who who have a bachelor's degree in these fields, a valid score in the "Verbal" field of the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) and become successful in the interview conducted by the department can participate in this program, according to their interests. They graduate as a science specialist in the subject related to their thesis work within the scope of the field of specialization course. Then, they have the competence to work in the domestic and foreign units of Yunus Emre Enstitüsü, language teaching units affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, Turkish teaching centers or private language schools in Turkey and abroad in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners.
