Midwifery Program Educational Objectives
PEA1. To train midwives who provide services to improve the health of individuals, families, and communities, who adhere to ethical principles and respect human rights.
PEA 2. To train individuals who closely follow scientific and technological developments, conduct research, integrate evidence-based practices into their healthcare services, are inquisitive, and embrace lifelong learning.
PEA 3. To train midwives who are sensitive to cultural values, religious, and socioeconomic differences, possess strong communication skills, and possess empathy.
PEA 4. To train graduates who work with a humanistic approach, are patient-centered, possess high self-control, are responsible, and provide quality and patient safety-focused services.
PEA 5. To train midwives who are capable of effective interdisciplinary collaboration, aligned with team spirit and dynamics, and equipped to lead when necessary.
PEA 6. To train professionals who support normal processes in women's health, reproductive health, obstetrics, and newborn health, and who, when necessary, can use their knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide effective and appropriate interventions.
PEA 7. To provide community health services in diverse geographic regions and across diverse institutions and organizations. The goal is to train professionals who can plan, provide, and sustain primary health care services to protect and improve them.

PO1. Possesses specialized knowledge in the management, marketing, accounting, finance, and production functions of healthcare institutions and the healthcare system; analyzes and restructures organizational processes using this knowledge at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
