    Music and performing arts are among the most powerful forms of human expression throughout history. Our faculty aims to educate artists, researchers, and educators by combining this universal language with the principles of contemporary education.

    The Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at Mersin University is one of the leading institutions in Turkey in the field of art education, distinguished by its competent academic staff, versatile educational programs, and interdisciplinary approach. The individual and ensemble performance courses, creative production processes, stage applications, and scientific research conducted in our faculty enable our students to develop not only as performers but also as thinking, questioning, pedagogically aware, and productive artists.

    As a faculty that believes in the transformative power of art, we strive to produce visible, high-quality, and original works at both national and international levels, while preserving our cultural heritage with a contemporary perspective and promoting social awareness through art.
