The Department of Performing Arts consists of two main departments: Opera and Ballet.

The Opera Department admits an average of 10 students each year through a special talent examination, making it one of the most active undergraduate art programs in the conservatory. It aims to train opera artists who have completed comprehensive vocal education, possess a strong cultural background and academic competence, and are capable of performing on both national and international stages.

The Ballet Department currently offers education at the middle school and high school levels and is founded on a well-established sense of artistic discipline. Preparations for the establishment of an undergraduate program within this department are ongoing. The success of its students, who continue their education successfully at leading conservatories in Turkey, forms a strong basis for the development of ballet at the higher education level. With the implementation of the undergraduate program, the goal is to ensure the continuous and comprehensive provision of ballet education within our university.
