Program Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Define the roles and responsibilities of nursing at national and international levels.

2. Explain the methods of accessing knowledge in basic medical sciences.

3. Define the ethical principles of the nursing profession.

4. Explain the historical development and current status of nursing in Türkiye and globally.

5. List national and international health-related organizations.

6. Provide health-promoting, disease-preventing, therapeutic, and supportive nursing care to individuals, families, and communities.

7. Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate the educational needs of healthy and ill individuals, families, and communities.

8. Provide counseling on family planning, genetics, chronic diseases, mental illnesses, infectious diseases, and other issues.

9. Develop evidence-based nursing knowledge and practice through critical thinking and research.

10. Monitor and implement contemporary interventions in treatment and care.

18- Able to acquire a general cultural formation compatible with their educational level and social environment.

19- Able to use a foreign language at least at the B1 General Level of the European Language Portfolio and to follow information in their field and communicate with colleagues.
