Our Institute Director, Prof. Dr. Bahar TAŞDELEN, represented our university at the ORPHEUS 2025 conference organized by the University of Zagreb in Dubrovnik from April 10-12, 2025.

On March 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the Reşit Galip Conference Hall, with Res. Asst. Dr. Fırat ÇINAR gave a presentation titled "Demonstrating the Intellectual Structure of the Health Sciences Institute through Bibliometric Analysis and Measuring Publication Performance," and our Institute Director, Prof. Dr. Bahar Taşdelen, gave an informative presentation on the Health Sciences Institute's ORPHEUS Label Application Preparations.

Our Institute is a member of ORPHEUS (Organization for PhD Training in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the European System) as of January 2025. As part of the efforts of the Curriculum Committee to raise the standard of doctoral education offered in our institute's programs and ensure that our students graduate with the ORPHEUS label, Prof. Dr. Gül Güner Akdogan, Chair of the ORPHEUS Label Commission and faculty member of the Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Medicine, held an online seminar titled "ORPHEUS (Organization for PhD training in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the European System) Good Practices and its Perspective on Consultancy" on March 7, 2025, at 10:30 AM. This seminar addressed the responsibilities of ORPHEUS membership and best practices required to obtain the label.
