Deparment of Land Management, Real Estate Appraisal and Development (Interdisciplinary)


There is a need to acquire, use, change, and transform more land for human activities that increase with the growing population in the world. In line with the sustainable development goals, it aims to better manage urban and rural land.

1. To carry out studies on issues such as ending hunger, protection and registration of property rights, conservation of biomass, healthy and sustainable urbanization, and mitigation of the effects of climate change, which are among the Sustainable Development Goals.
2. To comprehend the most up-to-date data collection tools, data processing and storage methods, and data interpretation techniques.
3. To train manpower who have a good command of the legal and financial components required by real estate valuation and development processes.

Department of Land Management, Real Estate Appraisal and Development (Interdisciplinary) Non-Thesis Master's Program has started its graduate education programs within Mersin University Institute of Science and Technology in the Spring Semester of 2021-2022.

The aim of the Department of Land Management, Real Estate Appraisal and Development (Interdisciplinary)  Master's Program is to develop the advanced knowledge and skills of the participants in the relevant discipline in line with the developing technology and changing needs and to develop their expertise and professional careers regarding the concepts, principles, and methods in this field.
