Cooperation Protocol between the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB)

The “Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol (Annex-1)” was signed between the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) on February 20, 2025, in Ankara, and has officially entered into force.

This protocol aims to make the education provided in Vocational Schools (MYO) within higher education institutions more compatible with sectoral needs, to ensure that students benefit more effectively from practical training opportunities, and to increase employment prospects.

Within the scope of the protocol, Silifke Vocational School has been paired with the Silifke Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In this framework, the two institutions will work in close cooperation within programs to be jointly determined. The collaboration will focus on reflecting sectoral demands into educational processes and expanding internship and practical training opportunities.
