Vocational School of Silifke



Silifke Vocational School began offering education in the 1994–1995 academic year. It operates on the campus located along the Silifke–Taşucu road at the Kayraktepe site, next to the DSİ service building, sharing facilities with the Silifke School of Applied Technology and Business Administration.

Our School’s Academic Units:

  • Department of Management and Organization

    • Business Management Program (currently undergoing MEDEK accreditation review)

    • Local Governments Program

  • Department of Plant and Animal Production

    • Horticulture Program

    • Organic Agriculture Program

  • Department of Marketing and Advertising

    • Public Relations and Advertising Program

The school occupies 4,500 m² of indoor space and 17,350 m² of outdoor space. Facilities include:

  • 1 computer laboratory for research activities

  • A 41-decare research and practice field for the Plant and Animal Production Department

  • A 500 m² glass greenhouse

  • A 150 m² hydroponic greenhouse

  • 1 additional general-purpose laboratory

To be a quality-focused, barrier-free, and internationally recognized vocational school that integrates students, alumni, staff, and the wider community through lifelong learning, producing education, knowledge, technology, and art at national and international levels.

Strategic Focus

Today, mental labor is increasingly replacing physical labor, making high-quality education paramount. Our primary goals are to train knowledge workers who can not only apply information but also analyze and make decisions based on it, and who use resources efficiently and responsibly.
