MISSION
To provide education and training with high-quality academic programs within universal values, to raise modern, creative, positive and critically thinking individuals who utilize their knowledge and experience for the benefit of all humanity, who are sensitive to nature, aware of cultural values, committed to the fundamental principles of the Republic of Turkey founded by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, participatory, productive, and who will represent their country throughout the world, and to contribute to regional and national development and sustainable progress by presenting their scientific studies and research outputs to the benefit of society.

To be a quality-oriented, socially sensitive, accessible (barrier-free), and internationally recognized university that integrates its students, graduates, employees, and society with lifelong learning through the education and training it provides and the knowledge, technology, and art it produces at national and international levels.

QUALITY POLICY
Our Vocational School, within the framework of its mission, vision, and goals, commits to a quality management system that strives to implement its functions of education and training, research and development, and social service at international standards, adopts continuous improvement and innovation, aims to keep the satisfaction of all stakeholders at a high level by ensuring the participation of internal and external stakeholders in quality processes, and continuously improves itself.

QUALITY WORK
Quality assurance studies at our University were first initiated at our school by the Directorate of the Technical Sciences Vocational School and were awarded the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certificate in 2002. In 2007, the Quality Management Coordination Office (KYK) was established under the leadership of the Mersin University Rectorate. KYK initiated quality studies to encompass all units of the university, and in 2010, the university qualified for the ISO 9001:2008 QMS certificate for all its academic and administrative units. In 2010, our University became the first state university to receive the ISO 9001:2008 QMS certificate for all its academic and administrative units. All efforts regarding the development of quality assurance processes in the fields of education and training, scientific research, administrative services, and contribution to society are planned in collaboration with the Quality Supreme Board, the Quality Commission, the Quality Management Coordination Office, and the Bologna Coordination Commission, which were established with the Mersin University Quality Assurance Directive. Currently, quality management system activities in every unit of our University are carried out under the scope of the ISO 9001:2015 certificate as of March 22, 2018.
