The R&D Project Market 2026, organized by Mersin TTO, will be held on May 5-6, 2026, at the Prof. Dr. Uğur Oral Culture Center on the Çiftlikköy Campus of Mersin University.

Applications have been extended until April 30, 2026, and will be made online at https://arge.mersintto.org/.

The main goal of the Mersin University R&D Project Market, which provides an opportunity for students and researchers with concrete R&D ideas or projects to meet with representatives of relevant industry organizations, is to ensure the maturation of the project preparation culture and thus to spread R&D awareness.

We would be happy to see you at our event, where various awards will be given to successful project owners.

Participants:

1- Must be present at the event area on May 5, 2026, at 08:30 to complete registration, receive their name badges, and prepare their posters.

2- They are required to have their posters, prepared in accordance with the "Poster Template" and measuring 50*70 cm, ready on the event date.

Purpose: The purpose of these criterias is to determine the principles regarding the awarding of projects evaluated within the scope of the R&D Project Market.

Scope: These criterias cover all project owners who apply to the competition and the evaluation process.

1. Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctorate and Industry Category:

• Projects in these categories are scored as a result of the jury evaluation.

• Among the projects with the highest scores:

1st Prize: 40,000 TL

2nd Prize: 30,000 TL

3rd Prize: 20,000 TL will be awarded.

2nd Jury Special Award:

• 30,000 TL

• Awarded to the project that receives the highest score in the jury evaluation among the projects that applied at the secondary and high school level.

• Evaluation is done out of 100 points.

• Projects are evaluated by the jury according to the following criteria:

1. Creativity

2. Innovation

3. Commercialization Potential

4. Applicability

5. Impact

• Due to the different weighting ratios of these criteria, the probability of projects receiving the same score has been mathematically reduced.
