Departmental Board and Academic Board Meetings Were Held at the Faculty of Communication

Departmental board meetings and the Faculty Academic Board meeting were held at Mersin University Faculty of Communication to conduct academic evaluations regarding the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year.

On September 17, 2026, at 10:30 AM, Departmental Board Meetings were held for the Departments of Radio, Television and Cinema, Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, and New Media and Communication. During the meetings, academic processes, departmental activities, and agenda items related to the new academic term were evaluated.

Following the Departmental Board Meetings, the Academic Board of the Faculty of Communication convened at 11:00 AM. In the meeting, which was held with the participation of the faculty's academic staff, an overall evaluation of the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year was conducted, and educational activities as well as academic studies for the upcoming term were discussed.

The agenda items of the meeting also included the presentation of certificates to academic staff members completing their 25th year of service. Within this scope, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Taylan, a faculty member of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, was presented with a certificate of appreciation in honor of his 25th year of service.

The meetings concluded after sharing evaluations regarding the faculty's educational activities and academic endeavors.
