Department of Chemistry Students Visit Aves Energy

On May 22, 2025, the students of our University’s Department of Chemistry organized a technical visit to Aves Energy Oil and Food Industry in order to reinforce their academic knowledge and observe industrial practices on site.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to gain detailed insights into vegetable oil production and refining processes, as well as biodiesel production from waste oils. Thanks to the presentations delivered by company representatives and the on-site observations at the production facilities, students were able to witness firsthand how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice.

This highly productive event provided significant contributions to our students, both in understanding industrial processes in the field of chemistry and in raising awareness about environmentally friendly production technologies.
