Our center visited Dr. Kamil Tarhan Primary School.

As the Mersin University Marine Sciences Application and Research Center (DEBİM), we visited Dr. Kamil Tarhan Primary School on November 2, 2026, as part of the eTwinning project, "The Pearl of the Sand, The Breath of the Sea - L.U.M.A. (Learning, Understanding, Monitoring and Acting for Biodiversity)." 

DEBİM Director Prof. Dr. Deniz Ayas met with students from the 4/C class at the Dr. Kamil Tarhan Primary School "Science and Discovery Workshop." The session featured an engaging discussion on healthy seas, rich biodiversity, and cleaner coastlines.
