Students from Class 4/A of Vali Şenol Engin Primary School Visited Our Museum

On the morning of October 27, 2026, students from class 4/A of Vali Şenol Engin Primary School visited our museum, accompanied by their teacher, Elif Can Bahçivan.
The guests were welcomed by the Center Director (DEBİM), Prof. Dr. Deniz Ayas, and our museum team, who delivered a welcoming address in the museum garden. Following this, information regarding aquatic ecosystems was provided around the soil-based pool located on the museum grounds.
The students were shown the fin whale—currently undergoing repair and maintenance at the museum—and were given insights into the reproduction, growth, and migratory journeys of fin whales across the oceans and deep seas.
Additionally, the students were introduced to specimens of marine life native to the Eastern Mediterranean, which are on display in the museum, as part of a broader discussion on ecosystems, aquatic life, and biodiversity.
