Visit to the Mersin Chamber of Shipping by DEBİM

Prof. Dr. Deniz AYAS, Director of the Mersin University Marine Sciences Application and Research Center (DEBİM), accompanied by faculty members from the center, paid a congratulatory visit to Capt. Berdan DOĞAN, Chairman of the Board of the Mersin Chamber of Shipping, and Sabit AHMETLER, Chairman of the Assembly.

During the visit, the delegation conveyed their best wishes to Chairman DOĞAN and Chairman AHMETLER on their new roles and provided an overview of the scientific research conducted by the center. Discussions were held regarding the restoration of the Marine Life Museum—which operates under DEBİM—and projects aimed at the conservation of seagrass meadows were addressed.

We extend our gratitude to the leadership of the Mersin Chamber of Shipping for their gracious hospitality.
