Entrepreneurship Program Opening Seminar Held

The opening seminar of the Entrepreneurship Program at the Mersin University Faculty of Fisheries was held on October 22, 2026, at 13:30, under the title “Potential Business Development Opportunities in the Fisheries and Aquaculture Sector.”

Following an address by Prof. Dr. Yusuf Bozkurt—a faculty member at our institution—the seminar featured a presentation by Prof. Dr. Ferit Rad and was attended by students and staff from the faculty. The seminar aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and awareness of the sector by exploring potential business development and entrepreneurial opportunities within the fisheries and aquaculture industry.

As part of the Entrepreneurship Program—which seeks to foster entrepreneurial awareness among students, introduce them to career prospects in the sector, and encourage the development of innovative business ideas—a series of seminars covering various topics is scheduled to continue until June 2027.
