The European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO), whose implementation in Turkey is overseen by TÜBİTAK, runs various scholarship and support programs for scientists working in the life sciences. These programs, funded by member and partner countries of the European Molecular Biology Conference (EMBC), of which Turkey is also a member, provide researchers with grants, mobility, and scientific networking support.

Support is provided for workshops that encourage the sharing of current scientific knowledge in the life sciences, practical courses that provide training in experimental techniques and aim to teach new methodologies, and EMBO-FEBS lecture courses that support the organization of conferences in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology.
