Alumni Reunion: Graduates of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program Came Together

Mersin University Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO), Department of Electrical and Energy, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program, brought together its graduates and students in a meaningful event held on May 14, 2026.

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program, one of the oldest programs in our Vocational School with a long history and which graduated its first students in 1996, brought together students who graduated in different periods under one roof. The event, held in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Laboratory, took place in a warm atmosphere where graduates evaluated developments in the sector and shared their knowledge and experience with our students, who are their future colleagues.

During the event, our graduates and students had the opportunity to engage in sectoral discussions on important topics such as:

Current technologies in the sector,

Latest innovations in air conditioning systems,

Career and employment opportunities.

The event, which aimed to strengthen the bonds between the faculty members, graduates, and students of the Electrical and Energy Department, was met with great interest. The department head and faculty members stated that they are strengthening their ties with alumni every day, adding:

"We believe that such events are of great importance both in increasing the motivation of our alumni and in inspiring our students. The successes and experiences of our alumni in the sector are always a great source of pride for us. We are happy to host them at our vocational school."

As the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, we thank all our alumni and participants who honored us by attending this meaningful event, and we wish them continued success.
