MEÜFEST 2026 Concludes with Award Ceremony: Our Technical Sciences Vocational School Returns with Awards

Our university's traditional Culture and Sports Festival (MEÜFEST 2026), now in its 29th year, concluded with a trophy ceremony following weeks of competitions. Our athletes, who competed throughout the festival, where the spirit of friendship and sportsmanship was reflected on the field, shared their successes with the entire university family.

The ceremony, which began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Erol Yaşar, our Vice Rectors, deans, directors, academic and administrative staff, and students.

In the sports competitions held as part of the festival, our Vocational School of Technical Sciences achieved significant results in various categories. The results obtained in the tournaments, which saw participation from both staff and students, are as follows:

Staff Basketball: Our staff basketball team finished the tournament as champions, winning the first-place trophy.

Men's Student Basketball: Our men's student basketball team finished the tournament in second place.

Male Student Volleyball: Our male student volleyball team achieved third place in the matches held.

Medals and trophies were presented to the winning teams at the awards ceremony. We congratulate all our students and staff who represented our Technical Sciences Vocational School on the field and competed in a sportsmanlike manner throughout the tournament, and wish them continued success.
