Our Student Havva Selvihan Gür Brings Pride with Her Undefeated European Championship Title and All-Star Achievement

The Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team, which includes Havva Selvihan Gür, a third-year student in the Coaching Department of our university’s Faculty of Sports Sciences, achieved a major success at the European Championship Division B tournament held in Nottwil, Switzerland, from October 12–18, completing the tournament with an undefeated championship.

Selected for the All-Star Team for Her Outstanding Performance

Our student, who has been actively playing wheelchair basketball for many years—both at the national team level and for the Galatasaray Fuzül Sports Club—was selected as an All-Star player as a result of the determination, fighting spirit, performance, and desire to win she demonstrated during the tournament.

“Without You, We Are Incomplete”

Sharing her thoughts and feelings following this major double success in Europe, Havva Selvihan Gür stated, “This success was achieved not only by us but with the support of everyone who believed in us. Without you, we are incomplete.”
