Students from Vali Şenol Engin Primary School Visited Our Museum

On Thursday, October 20, 2026, students from class 4/C of Vali Şenol Engin Primary School visited our museum. Accompanied by their class teacher, Merve Başboğa, the students were welcomed by our museum team.
Our young guests first observed the fish in the earthen pond located in our museum’s garden and learned about the functioning of an aquatic ecosystem. They also examined the bones of a fin whale—currently undergoing renovation and maintenance—and received information about the habitats and physical characteristics of this species.
Our museum team provided the students with insights into the various marine creatures on display, explaining the nature of life in the sea, the importance of biodiversity, and the different species inhabiting aquatic environments, all while showcasing the specimens exhibited in the museum.
The visit concluded with a question-and-answer session—a segment that has become a classic feature of our school visits and one in which the students always show great interest.
