The book “Building Materials” edited by Prof. Dr. Cahit Bilim has been published.

The book "Building Materials," edited by our department's faculty member Prof. Dr. Cahit BİLİM, has been published on October 22, 2025, as a valuable resource for readers in the field of Civil Engineering.

The book, starting from the fundamentals of materials science, details most material types encountered in civil engineering, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. It not only conveys current knowledge but also supports a forward-looking, environmentally friendly, and innovative approach.

The book consists of 14 chapters, with Prof. Dr. Cahit BİLİM co-authoring the chapter titled "The Internal Structure of Materials" with Prof. Dr. Fatih ÖZCAN, another faculty member from our department.
