Our Faculty's Computer Engineering Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem İnan ACI (Principal Investigator) and Research Assistant Gizen MUTLU KORUCU (Scholarship Holder) have been awarded funding from the TÜBİTAK-1002 program for their project titled "Development of High-Performance Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models Using Bipolar Distance Metric" .

The project aims to use the bipolar metric, a mathematical method, to optimize the declining accuracy rates and memory usage of Machine Learning and Deep Learning-based algorithms as data volume increases, thereby improving accuracy rates without the need for intensive data preprocessing, optimizing memory usage, and obtaining more flexible models.
