In order to utilize extracurricular time according to the intensity of our university's activities, to provide opportunities for acquiring new interests, to offer healthy information opportunities to employees, and to foster regular, disciplined work and entertainment, "Student Societies" exist under the Health, Culture and Sports Department.

Student activities are carried out by Student Societies established under the Health, Culture and Sports Department within the framework of the principles and procedures specified in the "Mersin University Establishment and Operation Guidelines for Student Societies". In the 2025-2026 academic year, we have 104 student societies, including newly established ones.

Our students can become members of groups that reflect their interests, take active roles in these groups, or participate in any growing activity even if they are not members.
