Woman's Studies (Master) (Without Thesis) (Distance Education)

The Women's Studies Distance Learning Master's Program, which began in the 2013-2014 academic year, aims to train qualified researchers who can produce and interpret knowledge with an interdisciplinary approach (sociology, psychology, philosophy, etc.) in the field of women's studies and keep up with national/international studies.

  • A minimum of a 4-year bachelor's degree or a diploma equivalence approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is sufficient for admission to the program.
  • The graduation requirement is the successful completion of at least ten courses (30 credits) and a “Term Project.” Graduates who successfully complete the program receive a Master's degree in “Women's Studies.”
  • Graduates can work as experts in local government units such as municipalities and civil society organizations.
  • In addition, they have the opportunity to transfer to thesis-based master's programs if they meet the ALES and interview requirements.
