As Mersin University's Faculty of Education, we are deeply proud and honored that our graduate, İrfan Bereket, ranked second in Turkey in the 2024 KPSS Science exam and was subsequently appointed as a Science Teacher in the Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa.

Despite the heavy losses he suffered in the February 6th earthquakes, the "disaster of the century," our graduate achieved this outstanding success through his perseverance, determination, and hard work. He has set an exemplary story that inspires all our students and young colleagues.

I wish him success in his new position and wholeheartedly believe he will add value to the young people to whom we will entrust our country's future. As the Faculty of Education family, we wish him continued success and want to express our unwavering support.
