Mersin University Silifke Vocational School hosted another remarkable event of recent years, aiming to boost the motivation of students and staff and contribute to their personal development.

The conference titled "Those Who Lean on Their Own Walk Upright!", held on December 4, 2025, generated significant interest in both its content and participation.

The conference, which featured behavioral science expert Kunter Kurt as a speaker, attracted considerable attention. In his presentation, Kurt explained the vital importance of discovering one's inner resources, how behaviors can strengthen self-confidence, and how motivation can be sustained, using compelling examples. Attendees received powerful messages that life's obstacles can often be overcome through a self-centered perspective.

School administrators, academics from various departments, administrative staff, and numerous students attended the event.

The question-and-answer session at the end of the program created a friendly and informative environment for interaction between the participants and the speaker.
