Silifke Vocational School Staff Received Training On Protocol And Social Behavior Rules

A significant in-service training program was conducted at our school to strengthen the corporate communication culture and improve the representation skills of our employees. The “Protocol and Social Behavior Rules Training,” held on November 19, 2025, took place in the Silifke Vocational School Conference Hall with the participation of academic and administrative staff.

The training was given by our Vocational School Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Saygın. Saygın stated that protocol rules are not limited to formal ceremonies and meetings; they offer a broad framework encompassing corporate representation, communication language, forms of address, and behavioral standards in the workplace. Throughout the presentation, participants received comprehensive information on topics such as internal and external representation processes, correct use of body language, rules of etiquette, formal address and speech patterns, meeting protocol, and principles of professional conduct in social settings.

The interactive presentation, conducted through example applications and scenarios, aimed to help staff more effectively adapt protocol rules to their daily work practices. An active learning environment was created at the end of the program, with participants asking Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Saygın questions about topics they were curious about.

The management of Silifke Vocational School stated that the event offered a significant awareness and development opportunity for school staff, with the aim of strengthening institutional culture and improving service quality.
