Our Vocational School has achieved another significant success with its quality assurance and continuous improvement-focused efforts.

The Business Administration Associate Degree Program, conducted within the Department of Management and Organization, has been awarded Full Accreditation by the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK), authorized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

As a result of the evaluation, the program's educational processes, academic staff qualifications, physical and administrative infrastructure, and program outcomes were officially certified as conforming to national quality standards. This further strengthens the academic and institutional prestige of Mersin University Silifke Vocational School.

The accreditation process was carried out through the planned, systematic, and dedicated efforts of the Management and Organization Department faculty and administrative staff, in coordination with the Department of Management and Organization and the Unit Quality and Accreditation Commission. The self-assessment reports prepared within the scope of the process addressed the program's aims and outcomes, the evaluation of internal and external stakeholder opinions, and continuous improvement activities within a scientific framework.

The academic staff made significant contributions to updating course plans, developing assessment and evaluation methods, and aligning learning outcomes with sector expectations; while the administrative staff supported the smooth and orderly progress of the work with their effective support in data collection, documentation, and institutional coordination processes.

The accreditation process, requiring intensive effort and disciplined work, significantly contributed to improving the quality of education, strengthening institutional awareness, and more clearly defining strategic goals. With the full accreditation obtained, the aim is to provide students with a more qualified and reliable educational environment, increase the employability of graduates, and strengthen the national recognition of the program.

On this occasion, we would like to thank our Rector, Prof. Dr. Erol Yaşar, and all our academic and administrative staff, students, and stakeholders who contributed to the accreditation process; and we respectfully announce to the public that quality assurance-focused efforts will continue resolutely for our other programs as well.
