Information Event On Horizon Europe Projects
The event, organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit İzgi Onbaşılı under the auspices of our Coordination Office, featured important presentations on Horizon Europe projects. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Research, Prof. Dr. Caner Özdemir; the Associate Dean and Coordinator of International Research Projects, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yuyucu Karabulut; the Internationalization Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Aylin Altan Mete; the Technology Transfer Office Coordinator, Abdi Kurt; and numerous academics from various units of our university.
The event’s guest speaker, Dr. Dilay Kesten Erhart, serves as Deputy Head of the Research Strategy Department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Germany; she conducts research in the fields of smart cities, energy efficiency, and innovation management. In her presentation, Dr. Erhart shared her experiences with participants from the perspectives of a project writer, coordinator, and evaluator in European Union projects.
The event covered important information regarding international project development processes, successful application strategies, and the enhancement of research capacity. During the question-and-answer session held at the end of the program, participants had the opportunity to ask questions about project processes.
