The webinar titled “International Career Opportunities: Nursing in America,” organized in collaboration with the Mersin University Faculty of Nursing Alumni Monitoring Committee and the Student Scientific Activities Committee, was successfully held online on May 6, 2026, at 8:00 PM. The event provided nursing students and graduates with comprehensive information about career opportunities abroad.

Kübra Çetindaş (RN), a specialist nurse working in the United States, participated as a speaker, sharing important information with participants about the necessary processes, application requirements, equivalency procedures, and work experiences for practicing nursing in America. The event was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diğdem Lafçı Bakar, a faculty member of our university.

The webinar, which attracted significant interest from participants, concluded interactively with a question-and-answer session. Thanks to the event, our students and graduates had the opportunity to gain awareness regarding international career planning.
