Evaporators and distillation principles.Pump types and their operation principles. Pumping systems and control systems. Ballast, bilge water, fire pumps and systems. Air compressor types and their operation principles. Fuel and lubrication oil separators. Bilge water separator and their systems. Machine maintenance processes. Regulations about fuel oil and greasing oil. Keeping a log. Economic and security precautions about navigation at open sea and narrow water. Most economically use of fuels on machines. Pipe gases. Economic use of cooling systems. Repairs to be carried out and maintain order.
