The Center for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching, Application and Research (ÖGEM) held a significant webinar on the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in nursing on March 12, 2025.

Presented by Prof. Dr. Sevilay ERDEN, a faculty member in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Çukurova University, the webinar addressed AI-supported burn assessment methods, treatment planning, risk analyses, and their applications in rehabilitation processes. The event also highlighted the potential of AI in nursing practice and informed participants about current developments.

The event, attended by faculty members and undergraduate and graduate students from Mersin University and other universities' Nursing Faculties, concluded with a question-and-answer session. The event, titled "Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Burn Management," attracted significant interest. It was emphasized that such events will continue to contribute to the digital transformation process in healthcare.
