New Master's Program and Course Plans Evaluated at the Institute of Science

The Institute Board Meeting organized by the Mersin University Institute of Science was held under the chairmanship of Institute Director Prof. Dr. Birgül Özdemir and with the participation of all department heads. Various agenda items aimed at strengthening the Institute's academic structure were discussed.

During the presentation section of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Acı provided comprehensive information about the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems planned to be established within the Institute. The presentation detailed the objectives, scope, course content, and contributions to the academic infrastructure of both thesis and non-thesis master's programs.

In addition, participants were informed about planned curriculum updates to existing programs, arrangements to improve quality in education, and courses to be offered in the 2025–2026 Spring Semester.

Institute Director Prof. Dr. At the end of the meeting, Birgül Özdemir emphasized the importance of collaborations across all departments and stated that efforts to strengthen the institute's academic diversity and quality will continue.
